This is the original version of the larger Sankaty Light house print I did for the Artist Association of Nantucket's summer gala of 2023.
I started this block, then got the call that I was to be the gala honoree for 2023, so I put this aside and created a larger version (as well as two other prints forming a triptych.) After the gala was over, and I was back in my studio, I revisted this earlier version and completed it. You may notice that it's the mirror image of the larger print. I switched the larger print to be more accurate to the view if you were standing and looking at the lighthouse. I think this version has a great charm to it as well.
