New York City images
This is a collaboration piece with Steve Cerio. Steve is an illustrator who has done a lot of work for the band The Residents, as well as many other projects. He lived in NYC in the late 80's-early 90's where I knew him. Steve is a musician as well, so we bonded over music and art, specifically 60's psychedelic poster art.
In this image, Steve drew the image on the block, and I cut out the image, and created the finished multi-block print. I cut 3 different blocks for the finished piece- the key block (the drawing itself), and two different background blocks for the positive and negative spaces.
