I love how New York City's Chinatown ios one of the last unchanged neighborhoods in the city. It's winding streets, densly packed with signs, people, store signs in English and Chinese, and throngs of people; always throngs of people. I saw this interesting juxtapostion of NYC cops in kilts armed with bagpipes standing in the middle of this beautiful cacophony, and snapped a few photos. It was incongruous, but also, just so NYC! It captures the odd juxtapostions that happen everyday in such a diverse place.
