This is a pastel I did on green mat board. I moved to Otisville, NY into a little cabin on 6 acres of land because NYC was no longer inspiring me at that time. I needed someting new to look at. I certainly found it in the wonderfully twisting trees on the mountain top that reminded me of gothic spires. I had a week off for "Spring Break, and I used that time to create a few pastels of Orange County, NY scenes that inspired me.
