This was done as part of the Nantucket Plein Air Festival that's held every June. It rained for most of the festival this year, but I had about 3 hours of relative dry weather to put this together. It's an old, beat up, and haunted house and I wanted to get the radically different sides it has. The front is grey and very disheveled, but the side is bright yellow and quite homey. I had to stand very close to the house to get the view of both sides (and to stay out of the rain), so that contributes to the exaggerated 2 pt perspective, but truth-be-told, I'm a big fan of that technique after seeing it done a million times in comic books as a kid.
